Juve does not win but move another point ahead.

What a strange weekend this was. With Juve drawing at home against lowly Cagliari is not so strange as we all knew that the old lady would rest most off the players it was great to see Pogba back just in time for the return leg.

As per usual Pogba scored one of his signature goal a long hard low range, a bit lucky to say the least as it took a light touch from a defender but who cares, Juve had a number of chances to secure all three points but failed to hit the once too often, one good thing came from this game players on the fringe making up the minutes to qualify for the Scudetto medal.

The biggest surprises this weekend where the teams fighting for that second and third spot both Roma and then Lazio lost by the same score line 2-1 against Milan and Inter, the Milan clubs put the spoke in their wheels, as for Napoli they went to relegated Parma a game that should have been a formality actually turned out to be a struggle, and what happen after the game handbags at forty passes why did the Napoli players get so upset, (maybe it because Parma did not role over).

But closing in on the gap were Fiorentina who went to Empoli (who created problems for others) and took all three points home with a 3-2 win, whiles Sampdoria went to Udine and took all the points home with an emphatic 4-1 win.

One result is awaiting tomorrow night when Genoa host Torino any one wins this game and they go closer into the frame of European football, making the last three game very interesting 7 points (that’s before tomorrow night’s game separate 5th to 9th place, if Torino lose then it goes down to four teams for two positions.

In Europe Real Madrid had to come from 2-0 down to draw with Valencia at home, Ronaldo misses a penalty, this draw gives the title to Barcelona two games to go four points behind, as for Barcelona they did not have the same trouble as they beat Real Sociedad 2-0, the other champions league team who has a mountain to climb on Tuesday night Bayern Munich suffered their second home defeat in four games this time against Augsburg 1-0 goal from Babadilla (actually they also lost last week away against Leverkusen 2-0)
