Some of my posts from this time last year may have given the impression that I thought Antonio Conte was a bad appointment as Juve coach and that his reign would almost certainly see us consigned to Serie B within 12 months. I now realise, in the light of recent Serie A records, that Conte is without doubt the best coach ever and will be a ‘shoo-in’ for manager of the year and probably the Papacy when Pope Benedict passes away. Sorry for any confusion.
