Juve yet another poker bye Roma.

Juve serve second poker of the season, this time the victims were none other than Roma, Zeman’s face said it all, it was really great to see it. The same result as last season 4-1, actually it has to be said that Roma last three encounters in Torino have been rather expensive 4-1 twice and previous to that 4-0. This weekend it only took ten minutes to open the scoring a free kick from Pirlo was cheekily taken, instead shooting over the players he shoot under their legs as they jumped and the ball entered by the keepers left-hand post 1-0, then only four minutes later another Juve attack two shoots from outside the area and both time (as proven in slow-motion) were handled penalty coolly taken by Vidal 2-0, three minutes later a great through ball from the centre of the field by Vidal met by none other than Matri controlled with precision turned towards goal beat the keeper 3-0 and that’s after a mere 19 minutes. At this point you’d be forgiven as you started to lose interest in the game as Juve took their foot of the gas and just started to play around to which two more opportunity one by Marchisio and Vucinic both hitting the woodwork. Second half started no real difference here Roma tried to get started but somehow they forgot to arrive in Torino, they did score in a rear attack when Bonucci conceded a foul in the box penalty and Osvaldo dispatched the ball in the net on Buffon right-side, but that was the only highlight for Roma as Giovinco replaced Matri and in the 91st minute received a through pass from Barzagli Giovinco rounded the keeper and as a true striker in a tight spot placed the ball into the back of the net to close off the game completely. This is Juve fifth win of the season with only Fiorentina stopping the 100% record in a rather dull draw, so far in total with the 38 of last season as six this season is 44 games without defeat, re-writing record books yep, and also cannot remember such a great start from Juve, but will look at the record books to find out. Other in the Scudetto race, Napoli travelled to Genoa to face Sampdoria, took all three points away, with a 1-0 win goal from Cavani from the spot, but it has to be said the referee got it wrong the foul was outside of the box, Gastaldello’s red card was right, but the penalty was wrong, with this win they stay joint with Juve. In third place move Inter as they beat Fiorentina 2-1, Lazio beat Siena 2-1 to stay four points behind the leaders, whiles Milan one of the favourites to be in the Scudetto race are nine points behind the leaders as once again they failed to win as they were held in Parma 1-1, whiles others Torino went to Bergamo and beat Atalanta 5-1 that was no surprise as Atalanta had eight players out, Udinese and Genoa ended 0-0, Bologna sent Catania back to Sicily with a 4-0 defeat, Pescara add another win as they travelled to Sardegnia and beat Cagliari 2-1 and it cost the manager his job, Palermo finally win as they beat Chievo 4-1 and move up the ladder. Champions League opponents, on Friday Nordsjaelland beat Esbjerg 3-0 goals from John, Lorentzen and Stokholm, Esbjerg had a player sent off, Shakhtar beat Dnipro 2-1 goals from Mkhitaryan and Srna that was after Rotan gave the guests the lead, Chelsea went to the Emirates for their clash and won 2-1 goals from Torres and Mata, Gervinho temporally levelled the game. All the Champions league teams in the group had good wins, very interesting on Tuesday night.
